About Jess
Welcome to a World of Color and Joy – The Story of Jess McEwen

I’m an artist drawn to softness, layers, and emotional resonance. My work often begins with fragments—a memory, a color, a phrase—that ask to be made visible.
I work in mixed media, often combining paint, drawing, collage, and photography. My pieces are not always literal, but they are deeply personal. They carry a sense of almost-recognition—like a dream you forgot you had, or a feeling that doesn’t have a name.
I make original works on paper , and also love creating small, tangible pieces—zines, art prints, upcycled clothing, vintage book page banners and handmade parcel tags—that can be held in the hand and carried with you.
My hope is that something here makes you feel a little more connected: to beauty, to yourself, or to something you didn’t know you were missing.
Now, this story is yours to continue. Find the perfect print to brighten your space, each piece is made to bring a little extra joy into your world. So step inside, explore, and let a bit of color-filled magic follow you home.
Welcome to my world —I'm so happy you're here.
